Sainte-Catherine is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Saint Lawrence River in the Regional County Municipality of Rousillon. According to the 2006 census, St Catherine had an estimated population of 16.211 residents. This place had been occupied more than three centuries, since the establishment of the Iroquois mission in 1676.
